Latest blog post: Save our history. Stop the arch.

Dave is a lifelong writer who has always loved short stories. His contemporary Southern fiction has appeared in Tension Literary, the Raven Review, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature and elsewhere. His noir pieces have been published by journals like The Thieving Magpie and Close To The Bone. His latest story, “Everything Must Go,” received a runner-up award in the annual contest sponsored by the Atlanta Writers Club.
Dave blogs about the state of our world, history, the craft of writing, growing older, and lots more. He’s also a freelance editor (with reasonable rates). His earlier gigs include a car wash, the driver’s seat of a cab, and more than two decades as an international broadcast journalist. (He’s not the main character of this Nathaniel Hawthorne piece.)
